Unable to visit us in-person for a program? Not a problem! Request a virtual field trip or “meet the scientist” program by emailing Erica Forstater at elforstater@bsu.edu. Virtual programs generally last between 45 minutes to one hour and are tailored to fit your educational requests. All programs align with appropriate state and national standards. Topics can highlight greenhouses, woods, wetlands, prairies, etc.
We can use Zoom, Google Hangouts, or other video platforms to meet with your students. I am happy to record programs and send them to you for use by students who could not attend the “live” meeting. Virtual programs are a new tool for us, and we are happy to work with you individually to create a program that best suits your curriculum and your students.
