The Field Station and Environmental Education Center strives to provide educational opportunities about nature and ecology to our local community, PreK – twelfth-grade students, and Delaware County. Through programs geared towards improving science literacy, we hope to encourage a new generation to appreciate and care for the environment.

We would like this page to be a resource for teachers, parents, and students. Use the “Menu” button at the top right of the screen to navigate between pages. Resources are divided into 3 main categories: Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. From there, click on each grade to explore specific program materials. Content is a mixture of digital resources and in-classroom resources. Instructions and educational standards can be found in the teacher lesson plan for each program.

**Have you used any of our resources with your students? We would love your feedback! Please fill out our survey here**

***We are unable to offer in-person programs at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we would still like to be a resource for educators in any way we can. This website serves as a link between our resources and our community. Here you will find photos, videos, games, and lesson plans that you can use in your classrooms (both real and virtual). If you need content on a topic that is not currently listed or have a fantastic idea you would like to share, please email Erica Forstater at elforstater@bsu.edu and we can work together to create the resources you need. If you’re interested in a “virtual” field trip or a “meet a scientist” program, please email Erica for that as well!***
