Ball State Counseling Center

The Ball State Counseling Center offers free mental health services and resources for students and faculty from licensed professional counselors. They also have a free relaxation room available to Ball State Students. For more information, visit the Ball State Counseling Center website.

The Ball State Counseling Center also has a YouTube channel and useful self-help resources related to stress management, time management, career exploration, and more topics.

WellTrack Wellness App

The WellTrack app is a free self-help resource provided by Ball State University to all students. This app allows users to track their moods, stress levels, and more to monitor their own anxiety symptoms and progress.

Ball State Learning Center

The Ball State Learning Center offers in-person and online services to aid students with the development of the skills required for success in college courses. For more information, visit the Ball State Learning Center website.

The Ball State Learning Center offers many resources for academic success, such as:

  • Student Success Coaching – Students are assigned a coach to work one-on-one on their individual goals, such as as goal setting, time management, procrastination, organizational skills, and note-taking and reading strategies.
  • Supplemental Instruction – Study sessions geared toward assistance in difficult core classes.
  • Tutoring – Sessions are held in-person and online in both drop-in and appointment-based formats.
  • Videos – The Learning Center offers hundreds of course and topic-specific video lessons made by student tutors based on the most commonly-difficult courses.

Ball State Writing Center

The Ball State Writing Center offers free writing resources and feedback to students, faculty, and staff. In addition to offering free online feedback session appointments, the Writing Center also offers workshops, presentations, writing communities, studio space, and online resources.
