Conference Venue

NCBDS 37 will be hosted by the R. Wayne Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) on the Ball State University Campus. All conference sessions, meals, and the keynote presentation will be held in the Architecture Building. The closing reception will take place at the David Owsley Museum of Art.

Housing

The Muncie area has several new and established hotels, including a student-run hotel on campus in the Pittenger Student Center (24 rooms). Additional options close to the university include:

Van shuttles will run from the Marriott and the Hampton Inn to the Architecture Building from 7:45 AM – 9:00 AM and from the Architecture Building to the Marriott and the Hampton Inn from 7:30 – 8:30 PM on both days of the conference.

Travel

Muncie is accessible by three majors airports. They are:

Indianapolis International Airport (Approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes from campus)

Fort Wayne International Airport (Approximately 1 hour, 10 minutes from campus)

Dayton International Airport (Approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes from campus)

Each airport has car rental available and is connected by Muncie though major interstates and routes. Parking is available on campus in Visitor/Paid lots and garages. Parking at area hotels is typically free.
