The Cardinal Academy of Digital Security and Education (CADSE) facilitates partnerships between employers and Ball State students. CADSE provides an on-campus internships space, a professional development series, and services to support the partner organizations. The core goal of the CADSE is to increase the pipeline of highly skilled cybersecurity professionals in collaboration with local law enforcement and regional organizations, including small and large businesses as well as government agencies. The CADSE was established in 2024 with support from the Ball Brothers Foundation and the Ball State’s College of Sciences and Humanities.
The CADSE focuses on three key efforts
Internship incubator space shared by all agency partners
Unified professional development for interns employed by partner agencies
Services to support partner agencies related to the internship experience
