Please join Muncie Central High School and the CREATE project as we hear from a dynamic panel of leaders discussing themes of community, civics, and collaboration.

This invigorating, interactive experience is designed to help students gain insight on being an active citizen in their local community, state, and nation.

Speakers include State Senator Scott Alexander and State Representative Sue Errington.

Muncie Central is hosting this civic engagement event on April 21st from 1 -to- 3pm.

Students will be able to sign up for various activities to participate in from 1pm to 3pm. Here is a list of some of the activities for students:

  • Planting Trees at MCHS
  • Planting Flowers at the Buley Center
  • Planting a Butterfly Garden at MCHS
  • Litter / Trash Pickup along the Greenway
  • Cardinal Greenway Tour
  • Washington Street Neighborhood Tour
  • Minnetrista Tour
  • Painting pots
  • Baking Dog Treats
  • Painting Civics Murals
  • Civics Walk and Talk
  • Letter Writing
  • Students will begin signing up for these activities.
