Third Way Civics (3WC) Summer Workshop

This workshop introduces participants to the Third Way Civics (3WC) approach to undergraduate civic learning: an evidence-based, widely implemented and assessed strategy for fostering students’ civic knowledge, skills, and dispositions while advancing content learning and other essential academic outcomes. Led by Dr. Trygve Throntveit, educator and author, the workshop directly immerses participants in the same civic learning activities that students experience in 3WC-style courses, while also providing time to critique, imaginatively adapt, and redesign syllabi embodying the approach.

The workshop will be held June 2 and June 3 from 9:00am-4:00pm at the Ball State University L.A. Pittenger Student Center. Directions to the Student Center are located HERE.

The workshop will be held in Room 301.

Dress is casual. You might wear layers, as the temperature in the Student Center can vary.
