Dr. Minnick is an assistant professor in the Department of Social Work at Ball State University and a Co-Founder and Director of the Addictions Coalition of Delaware County.  He completed his undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Texas Tech University and received both his masters and PhD in social work from the University at Albany.  Dr. Minnick’s research and practice experience has centered on the development and implementation of macro-strategies to address substance misuse, and he is a board certified prevention specialist in addictions, board certified problem gambling specialist, and is a former fellow with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
